Welcome to MUN 102 - Speeches
MUN 102 This workshop prepares students to use basic research tools to strengthen their arguments. Students will also get independent research time in breakout rooms as well as discuss their positions with their peers via active caucusing.
Optional Homework following MUN 102 is to prepare a 30-second opening speech of approximately 60 words.
Homework Instructions
Clash is one sentence.
Information is 2-3.
Call to Action (how) should fill the rest of the speech.
The opening speech starts with a one-sentence Clash.
Use Information in the form of a number which shows why the Clash is important.
The Call to Action should explain how the proposed policy will solve the issue. The Call to Action should start about half way through the speech.
