Ambassadors Public Speaking Championship 2023 hosted by Bu'eine Nujeidat!

Schedule Day

8:30-9:00 Registration

9:00-9:30 Opening Ceremony

9:30-11:30 - TED Talks

11:30-12:00 - Improvised Speaking Competition

12:00-13:00 - Lunch

13:00 - Finalists announced

13:00 - 13:20 - Improvised Speaking Final

13:20-14:00 - TED Talks Final

14:00-14:30 - Closing Ceremony

Competition formats:

TED Talks

3:00-5:00 minute pre prepared presentations.

Can come with a slide show. Slide shows can only have text and images. No video.

Talks under 3 or over 5 minutes will be disqualified.

Talk must follow the following format:

Introduction (Hook+message)

Thesis

Story 1 (Personal)

Thesis + Data

Story 2 (Personal or Other)

Conclusion

Improvised Speaking

Topics are given on location at random. No preparation is necessary.

Speeches are 1.5 - 2 minutes.

Speakers get approximately three minutes preparation time.

Speeches under or over the speaking time will be disqualified.

Finals:

Improvised Speaking Finals will get a new topic to present in front of the general audience.

TED Talk finalists will repeat their TED talk in front of the general audience.
